The Hay Paddock Syrah Society

When you purchase the limited edition of The Hay Paddock  you also receive an invitation to membership of this exclusive society of friends and enthusiasts who enjoy fine wine, food and having fun - preferably to the accompaniment of music and laughter.

While seriously dedicated to the on-going pursuit of producing the finest red wine possible, The Hay Paddock Syrah Society brings together like-minded hedonists to enjoy the bucolic charms of annual wine country parties, whether under the stars or in the company of Stars.

Induction into this exclusive confrerie is accompanied by the presentation of the Syrah Society Cellar Key, the opportunity to acquire a numbered and signed Collectible Boxed Magnum each year and attendant privileges yet to be revealed. (Traditions take time to establish!) To be sure, the opportunity to purchase future vintages en primeur and at favourable prices will not be denied to members, as explained in the Society’s Charter opposite.

So, banish depression. Come join us, and let friendship and good wine be the antidote to hard times.

OUR CHARTER

1. Membership is by invitation of the Proprietors.

2. Friends and enthusiasts purchasing the current Vintage of The Hay Paddock 2006 will be nominated by the Proprietors for Membership and will be presented with the Syrah Society  Cellar Key.

3. Membership will be limited to a combined total of 300 Members plus Partners at any one time.

4. Members will receive a prior allocation each year of The Hay Paddock new release once the vintage has been declared and the en primeur price and quantity is set.

5. Members will have the opportunity to acquire a numbered and signed Collectible boxed Magnum of each declared vintage.

6. A vintage will only be declared under The Hay Paddock label in seasons where the wine meets quality expectations.

7. Members will be afforded priority access to The Hay Paddock Vineyard and Cellar for private functions and the storage of collectible wines.

8. Members will be entitled to purchase Harvest Man Syrah and any future releases under alternative labels from The Hay Paddock Limited at the then current Trade Price.

9. Members may decline the opportunity to purchase future vintages and thereby resign their membership at any time, surrendering their Cellar Key.

10. The Hay Paddock Syrah Society will aid and abet the production of the finest possible red wine to delight the palates of all who discover it.

11. For food and company, members will permit of no pretensions but only flavour and good humour.

12. The Society’s preferred charities will be The Westpac Helicopter Trust and The Starship Foundation.

13. Nominations for membership may be made by existing Members and will be accepted subject to availability and compatibility.
